After a difficult virtual meeting with Highways England and Cornwall Council officers we have finally got traction to step up safety work on the A30 to commence from next month. This includes an extension to the 30mph limit and improvements to the road surface, markings and signage.
Since becoming an MP I've worked to improve the safety and efficacy of the A30. Government funds for safety improvements to the A30 through Crowlas and Cockwells were secured back in 2016 and further work is still underway to identify a way to manage HGVs through Ludgvan and improve the safety of the Crowlas junction.
